TOURISM AND CONSERVATION WILL BE OUR AXIS OF OUR ENTREPRENEUR'S NETWORK, JOIN US IN THIS ADVENTURE
SOCIAL AND ECOLOGICAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP
When we talk about rural areas in Peru, it always refers to what is most distant, neglected and poorest in our country, however, at the same time it is where our genetic resources of agrobiodiversity, biological and forest are found, and it is for this reason that our communities can actively contribute to its development, these communities do not have the social conditions to aspire to a quality of life, in terms of access to basic services such as education, water, sanitation, and health is almost non-existent.
There is a huge inequality between cities and rural communities in terms of basic services by the state.
Solution
Mother Pacha is a non-profit organization that uses different strategies for each community of the Coast, Highlands, and Jungle, managing to develop innovative solutions that contribute to the sustainable rural development of the communities facing social, cultural, and environmental problems in their environment.
The objective is to promote ventures designed according to the geographic, cultural, and social scope of each community using different strategies. The venture depends on a variety of factors; committed parents, teachers, students, and the elderly. Including all members of the community is a fundamental part of the project, we will train and provide ongoing advice and we will develop technical solutions to the difficulties that may arise. We will provide everything necessary so that our adoptive communities can generate their own genuine and sustainable sources of work. They will be able to achieve a better quality of life by articulating key factors of their products and periodically monitoring progress, thus guaranteeing the success of our objectives. It is not only about bringing aid.
it is also important to monitor annually that the aid reaches its objective.
TOURISM
Tourism can be strategically advantageous to our work. Raising awareness of the different types of tourism will help us preserve our culture and our environment. We have experience in different parts of Peru training entrepreneurial communities on tourism and how it can be beneficial to their communities.
Peru is a world tourist destination, its landscaping beauty and cultural and natural wealth are immense, hikes and trekking are very powerful alternatives, an activity that would generate direct income for local people, there is no better way to contribute to the local economy.
Ecotourism and bird watching are effective ways to take care of our environment and become aware of the protection of species that are at risk of disappearing.
Experiential tourism is a unique cultural experience and Peru is one of the few countries in the world with living ancestral culture.
Tourist ventures are developed according to the characteristics of each community.
FISH FARMS
Peru is home to 10% of the world's freshwater fish with 1,010 species, 20% of them are endemic to Peru, of which 100 are used for human consumption and 200 are ornamental.
These figures give us an overview of the opportunities for socio-environmental ventures in rural areas of the Peruvian Andes as well as in the Peruvian Amazon. This would also provide important contributions to improve nutrition for our children in our adoptive communities.
We will deliver workshops to train in the construction and maintenance of fish farms and in this way, the community members themselves will build and maintain their fish farms.
HANDCRAFTS
Textile art in Peru is more than 4000 years old, we have in our genes the ability to create high quality and very creative artisan works. In addition, crafting develops skills in children and adults, allowing them to express their feelings and pride for their culture in the environment in which they live.
The fabrics of the island of Taquile in Lake Titikaka were recognized by Unesco as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, other examples are the Chulucanas ceramics from the north coast of Peru and in the Peruvian Amazon we have the beautiful Ashaninka fabrics, these are examples about the skills and cultural roots of Peruvians, our entrepreneurship seeks to revalue our traditions through crafts and Mother Pacha will be a link to their final destination.
AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS, MEDICINAL PLANTS, AND REFORESTATION
With 90% of microclimates worldwide, Peru is the most important genetic bank in the world with a rich agrobiodiversity in the different ecological niches, the resources are immense and different ventures can be promoted according to the different regions of our country with products with high demand in international markets.
We also encourage the valuation and rescue of medicinal plants for their elaboration and commercialization.
We will rescue endemic plant species in danger of extinction and encourage the participation of national and international institutions to reforestation and the creation of ecological parks with native species and thus give refuge to other species such as birds, reptiles, mammals and others threatened by the constant destruction of endemic forests of our territory, in this way entrepreneurship such as ecotourism and ecological events can be developed.

Peru is one of the best destinations for outdoor activities such as hiking, experiential tourism, ecotourism, our ventures are focused on training our communities to host or provide one-day services, offering a real experience for local people.

The potential is immense in the Peruvian Amazon and in our mountains, the photo shows an artisanal fish farm system in the Huarmi Isla community.

Inhabitants of the shantytown Caminos Del Inca learn to make gift bags with designs, made with uncontaminated recycled material.

The Peruvian Carob (Prosopis pallida) also called the "King of the Desert" for its diversity of benefits, is in danger of extinction due to the excessive use of firewood and the illegal sale of charcoal, the indiscriminate cutting of the forest to gain urban space, this species contributes to the control of dunes and counteract desertification, in addition to being part of the diet of the Peruvian Plantcutter (Phytotoma raimondii) which is an endemic species of Peru and is in danger of extinction.
As well as the Peruvian Cortarrama, there are many similar stories of species of orchids, reptiles, mammals, insects, which constantly lose their habitat.
