THE ONLY WAY TO MULTIPLY HAPPINESS IS BY SHARING LOVE

PROGRAMS

Our programs are connected in a spiral system for the fulfillment of our purpose.

The Mother Pacha method consists of the orderly work of our programs:

1.- SELF-ESTEEM: Achieving the self-esteem of our communities is a priority, nobody is capable of loving their neighbor without learning to love themselves and it is for this reason that as a first step is the meticulous work of SELF-ESTEEM in the communities, with Using this method, we will be able to reduce the rates of family violence, one of the SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS that UNESCO seeks to meet in its 2030 agenda is "Gender Equality" and by working on the self-esteem of our communities, we will be able to meet this very important goal.

2.- EDUCATION: This is the second step of the Mother Pacha method. Giving children from communities in extreme poverty the opportunity to have access to better educational quality is a very important component of our commitment. Within this program, we have two parts "COMPLEMENTING YOUR EDUCATION" and "ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION", in these two points we coincide again with other of the UNESCO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS which are "Quality Education" and "Climate Action".

3.- WATER AND SANITATION: The third step of the Mother Pacha method consists of implementing a system of elevated tanks with a system of solar panels, ecological toilets can stop contamination by waste, achieving better sanitation, workshops on health and food handling, coinciding with other of the UNESCO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS which are "Clean Water and Sanitation", "Good Health and Well-being" and "Affordable and Clean Energy", working for a better quality of life for our communities.

4.- ENTREPRENEURSHIP: The fourth step of our Mother Pacha method is to implement entrepreneurship projects according to the potential of each community and we will be a link with other partner institutions for the marketing and commercialization of their products, always seeking for care and protection of the environment, with these ventures we will be able to develop self-sustaining communities coinciding with other of the UNESCO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS "No Poverty" and "Zero Hunger".

We focus to work in communities that are territorially isolated or communities that are very vulnerable, our focus is on safeguarding each member, however, we focus a little more on the most vulnerable members of each community such as children, women, and elders, understanding that each community is a world to discover, their stories, their myths, and beliefs, their worldview, boys and girls, women deserve to be treated with respect and love, girls deserve to be seen by their parents as people with a more promising future and we work hard to achieve female leaders we want to train future women with a strong connection to the environment, the elderly deserve to have a more dignified life in their last years of life, we want communities with a more promising future and be a model to follow throughout the Peruvian territory and the world.

With self-esteem, the girls of Q'elqanqa will have a better future.
Children from the Q'elqanqa community at 4200 m.n.m, at Christmas we were able to bring some gifts, donations that we collected from good-hearted friends.

SELF-ESTEEM (KNOW AND LOVE YOURSELF)

In Peru today, mental health is severely deteriorated. The situation is alarming, noting that more than six million Peruvians suffer from a mental disorder and require medical attention. About 20% of Peruvians suffer from depression, anxiety, stress, or other more complex disorders that derive from episodes of violence and/or addictions that can lead to psychosis.

The Community Mental Health Program called "KNOW AND LOVE" is a psychoeducational program, aimed at parents, teachers, and school children, belonging to communities settled in the Coast, Sierra and Selva of Peru.

Regions of intervention: Loreto, Cusco, Ancash.

Duration: 4 years

Children from the "Once de Agosto" community in the Loreto region, the walls of the school fell down and need to be restored, many schools in rural areas have the same deficiencies

With education we achieve a better understanding of the environment, due to lack of education the inhabitants of the different regions continue to cause forest fires in many places in our country, it is one of the reasons why our glaciers are drying up.

EDUCATION

COMPLEMENTING YOUR EDUCATION

The COMPLEMENTING YOUR EDUCATION program is aimed at the student population of rural schools in poverty and extreme poverty of the coastal, highland, and jungle areas of Peru.

Our work approach is based on training teachers, from rural schools, with the Montessori method, exclusively neuro pedagogical and appropriate for one-teacher schools. Being the great advantage of this method, the teaching by age groups (from 3 to 6 years and from 6 to 12 years). We will generate, through the Montessori methodology, a positive impact on children's learning.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

UNDERSTANDING MY ENVIRONMENT

The "UNDERSTANDING MY ENVIRONMENT" program aims to teach all members of the communities to take an environmental conscience that motivates respect, care, and conservation of their natural environment for the development of life, these communities will be our strategic allies to care of our endemic flora and fauna, in a vulnerable state, in danger of extinction and in a critical state of extinction, these communities will become a kind of voluntary park ranger, being the most effective way of taking care of our environment.

BIOGARDENS RESCUE

Implemented to reforest with the native trees, shrubs, and medicinal plants characteristic of the different areas in the Coast, Highlands, and rainforest of our territory, we believe that true reforestation should be with endemic species that brings benefits in the short, medium and long term for the community.

BIOGARDENS NUTRITION

Peru is one of the most important genetic centers on the planet with 10% of the world's flora species, considering these data, we will implement school bio gardens with native species to help combat malnutrition, which unfortunately in our country 12.8% of children suffer from chronic malnutrition.

In rural areas, the houses do not have bathrooms and the corrals are attached to the side of their homes. This close coexistence causes illnesses and infections in children.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Lack of drinking water is the cause of frequent stomach problems in children under 5 years of age, lack of sanitation and hygiene habits cause skin problems, lack of cooking implements and many other problems generated by the lack of clean water.

WATER AND SANITATION
We work to achieve a better quality of life in our adoptive communities with drinking water with a system of elevated tanks, a system of sanitation services for the sanitary disposal of excreta and treatment of wastewater in this way avoiding the proliferation of diarrheal diseases caused by Parasitic infections, with the proper treatment of water we can reduce these diseases by up to 80%.

HEALTH

We will focus our attention on safeguarding the well-being of children because they are the most vulnerable population, according to UNICEF, poor hygiene, open defecation, lack of access to drinking water and sanitation systems are not only the causes major factors in childhood mortality and morbidity, but also contribute to malnutrition and growth retardation.

WATER TOWER

Knowing the characteristics of our country, we will develop a system of elevated water tanks to take advantage of the water from rivers, thaws, lagoons, springs or underground water and convert it into drinking water, in this way we will mostly stop stomach problems in children, caused by river water, rivers polluted by the lack of a sanitation system.
TOILETS
In all our adoptive communities a composter will be built near the ecological toilets, in this way, we will guarantee efficiency and a stable cycle of waste, the natural fertilizer will be used for school bio-gardens and bio-gardens for the rescue of endangered flora, after a meticulous analysis by our collaborators.
HYGIENE

Access to drinking water and bathrooms are indicators of a good quality of life. Unfortunately, in the country, 42% of the rural population does not have basic sanitation, a situation that exposes, mainly children and the elderly, to infectious diseases.

Diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, and parasites that are eliminated through feces are the greatest threat, some of them typhoid, cholera, hepatitis A, norovirus, Ascaris, and taeniasis.

Peruvian products are recognized for their excellent nutritional value, with our workshops and training we will achieve a solid undertaking for the benefit of our adoptive communities living in extreme poverty and thus achieve self-sustaining communities.

SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP

It is not only about bringing aid it is also important to monitor that the aid reaches its objective.

Mother Pacha is a non-profit organization that uses different strategies for each community of the coast, mountains, and jungle, managing to develop innovative solutions that contribute to the sustainable rural development of the communities facing social, cultural, and environmental problems in their environment.

TOURISM

Tourism can be strategically advantageous to our work. Raising awareness of the different types of tourism will help us preserve our culture and our environment. We have experience in different parts of Peru training entrepreneurial communities on tourism and how it can be beneficial to their communities.

FISH FARMS

Peru is home to 10% of the world's freshwater fish with 1,010 species, 20% of them are endemic to Peru, of which 100 are used for human consumption and 200 are ornamental.

These figures give us an overview of the opportunities for socio-environmental ventures in rural areas of the Peruvian Andes as well as in the Peruvian Amazon. This would also provide important contributions to improve nutrition for our children in our adoptive communities.

HANDCRAFTS

Textile art in Peru is more than 4000 years old, we have in our genes the ability to create high quality and very creative artisan works.  In addition, crafting develops skills in children and adults, allowing them to express their feelings and pride for their culture in the environment in which they live. This is an effective way to appreciate and protect their culture.

AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS, MEDICINAL PLANTS, AND REFORESTATION

Peru is the most important genetic bank in the world with a rich agrobiodiversity in the different ecological niches. The resources are immense and different ventures can be promoted according to the different regions of our country, especially those areas with agricultural products that are in high demand in international markets.
