IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH IT TAKES US TO ACHIEVE, AT THE END OF ALL THEY WILL THANK YOU

Mother Pacha

We are a non-profit civil association that seeks to create self-sustaining communities in order to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants in isolated or vulnerable areas of Peru, communities that are in extreme poverty.

Our work is made up of three parts:

1.- Identification and evaluation of the community to develop the Mother Pacha method.

Our links with the communities where we will work our programs have many years, we know them very well, however, before developing our programs, we ask for one or two meetings with the community authorities to explain the development of our objectives.

2.- Execution of the Mother Pacha method.

After the analysis and agreements reached with the community, we move on to the execution of our programs, SELF-ESTEEM, EDUCATION, AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION, WATER, AND SANITATION and finally SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP, which have an established order to ensure the success of our mission.

3.- Monitoring and communication.

After the execution of our programs, we monitor the communities to ensure that the projects developed to continue to have a positive effect until the autonomy of these communities is achieved.

For years we saw in different regions of Peru that many projects developed by different entities stopped working due to lack of economic or technological resources on the part of the communities that had previously benefited, the intention was very good, but it stopped being beneficial due to lack of post-execution monitoring.

With our programs we will be able to achieve our mission and vision within 3-5 years, our objectives are similar to those of UNESCO in its 2030 AGENDA FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS, "No Poverty", "Zero Hunger", "Good Health and Well-being", "Quality Education", "Gender Equality", "Clean Water and Sanitation", "Affordable and Clean Energy", "Reduced inequalities", "Climate Action", "Life on Land".

Hope

Many children from human settlements along the Peruvian desert coast do not go to school, they are the children of immigrants who left their places of origin in search of better opportunities and start a new life, during the search for work their children lose from one to three years of school due to lack of financial resources and lack of time from their parents, cases of family violence are more frequent in these poor areas of Peru.
These children hope for a better future.

Learning about conservation

Children from the Huarmi Isla community in the "El Dorado" gorge learn from childhood the concept of conservation and
sustainable management of the “taricaya” turtle (Podocnemis unifilis), collecting natural nests with their parents and placing them on artificial beaches like the one seen in the image, to be later used for consumption and marketing. This is the most effective form of conservation and environmental education.

Fabrics of life

Textile art is recognized worldwide, however, many communities are losing their essence by changing clothes for new garments made of synthetic material, our job is to recover this important part of their cultural identity, in fabrics, they transmit their origin, their status in the community, its history, its heroes, its gods, its flora and fauna, its state of mind, its textiles are a vital part of its worldview and must be preserved.

Amautas (Masters)

In ancient times, the elderly were the ones who imparted knowledge and shared their experiences, being highly respected, nowadays, together with children, they are the most vulnerable as they have no financial support, 71% of the working population is informal and 97% in poor areas % are informal workers and only 3% will be able to enjoy a life pension upon retirement, in this country, it is very hard to become an elderly person.
